Grades

I haven't written yet, but I feel like I need to...This week we found out our grades and how we ended up doing during the semester. 

Rory did extremely well, he got all A's, the first time he's ever done that. 

I, on the other hand, did not do so well because of one stinking class. DESIGN HISTORY. If you know me at all or have followed anything that I've been writing recently, you've seen how I feel about that course. The professor was such a jerk and the class was just not fair. period. When more people fail the exam than pass it, there is something wrong with your teaching, not the kids. As a teacher, you do not set your students up to fail, it's just not right. Your job is to allow and guide your students to succeed for their future. The fact that I need to apply to get into the College of Education and the professor doesn't care really rubs me the wrong way. 

I am appealing my grade right now, it's going to be a dumb and rough process, but hopefully it'll work out for me in the end. I've never failed an exam, or gotten below a C+ in my college career so hopefully this grade will stick out enough to those reviewing my other grades to see that I do NOT deserve this grade.
