For most students, this week is full of cramming, studying, and definitely not sleeping. For art students, it may be a bit different. We have projects and critiques that occur during this time. Most students think that being an art major is easy; that we don't have exams or that it's just a blow off. But I would really like those students to be in our shoes for a day. It is so time consuming, our 3 credit classes are 6 hours a week, and we are required 9-12 hours per week per class outside of class to work on our assignments.
As I am almost done with my art courses, I still have quite a few exams. I am an art history minor, so I am taking two art history courses and I have those exams this week. I also have a geology exam on Wednesday at 8am.
I hope that everyone does well on their exams this week. I know a lot of us are worn out and fried from pushing so hard, but we are almost there! We can do this!
